Typical 5 Team Pool Schedule Rundown
8:45am - 8:50am Captains meeting
Captains meetings start 15 minutes before the first match. Typically with a 9:00am start time, I want to host the meeting at 8:45am.
Captains that have Yankee experience and do not need to play or ref the first round do not need to be there.
9:00am - 10:15am First Round Start
First Round starting teams have seven (7) minutes to warm up.
Captains of both teams need to fill out a rotation sheet and provide it to the down ref during this time.
Working team needs to have a dedicated up ref, down ref, 2 line judges, a score keeper, and a book keeper. Please have your Up-ref and Down-ref bring their own whistles. If you do not have a whistle, you may purchase a whistle from me for $1 or an electronic whistle for $15. Around the 3 minute mark please have the down ref call both captains in to do a coin toss for serve receive and side pick.
Once the 7 minute timer is ready, please have teams both line on opposite end lines and wait for the Up-ref to blow the whistle.
Down-ref checks the rotations and gives it to the table. Round starts
10:20am - 3:00pm Second Round and After
The next team should warm up without distracting the current playing teams.
Next working team should setup and call captains before getting water / bathroom break.
All teams now have 4 minute warm-up time. This warmup consists of peppering, hitting lines, and serving if both teams agree.

3:15pm - 5:00pm Playoffs
For 5 team tournaments, top 3 teams make playoffs.
Should there be a tie in Wins and Losses, point differential will be calculated to avoid play ins.
